COVID-19 Safety Protocols & Precautions at Four Ninety

We ask all guests have proof of vaccination before booking,

All staff are fully vaccinated

The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff is paramount at

Four Ninety B&B. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19

situation and are adhering to the guidelines put forth by the federal and

provincial governments, local health officials and World Health

Organization. 

We are closed for the winter season due to fast spreading 

variant but looking forward to welcoming guests for spring 2022. 

We will be adhering to the workplace guidelines put forth

by the provincial government and local health officials to protect our

guests and staff and to minimize the spread of COVID-19. This includes

closure of our hot tub and communal areas until it is deemed safe to

open by the provincial government.

After many months of social distancing and self-isolation, we understand that

for many people the thought of traveling seems rather daunting right now.

As we all try to adapt to a new post-pandemic world, at Four Ninety we

are doing our best to ensure that each and every guest that passes

through our door feels confident and safe. We are doing everything within

our power to ensure that Four Ninety remains a COVID-free zone. Here

are a few extra precautions we are taking to help relieve any fears you

may have about traveling to Four Ninety in the near future:

Expanded Cabin/ Room Service Menu.

To help allow our guests to stay within the confines of their cabin and

avoid communal areas we have expanded our Cabin Service Menu. In

addition to our Breakfast Baskets and Cook-Your-Own BBQ Dinner

Baskets, guests will also be able to order wood-fired pizza delivered to

their cabin as well as wine, champagne or a 6-pack of local craft brews.

Four Ninety’s dining room will remain closed until it is deemed safe to

open by the provincial government and local health officials.

Advanced Cleaning Measures.

While cleanliness has always been a priority at Four Ninety, this year we

will be taking advanced measures and all guestrooms, cabins and

surfaces will be thoroughly disinfected prior to your arrival. Cleaning staff

will be required to wear personal protective equipment including gloves

and masks and will be utilizing medical grade disinfectants. There will be

increased cleaning and disinfection in all guest accommodations and

guest reception, with particular attention to doorknobs/handles, light

switches, washrooms and other high touch surfaces.

2-Night Minimum 3-Night long weekends

Due to the advanced cleansing measures we will be undertaking in our

accommodation units, as well as to help minimize the number of guests

that pass through our doors, this year we will be implementing a 2-night

minimum & 3-night minimum on long weekend to further protect our

guests and cleaning staff.

Disposable Plates & Cutlery

To further protect our guests, we will be replacing all plates & cutlery in

our, dinner baskets & breakfast baskets with disposable options.

Glassware will also be replaced with recyclable plastic alternatives.

Closure of Hot Tub & Communal Areas

At the current moment, hotels & resorts are not permitted to open public

pools or communal areas. Our, hot tub, Muskoka Room& The Dining

Room will remain closed until it has been deemed safe to open them by

the federal and provincial governments and local health officials.

Testing & Monitoring

We will be closely monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will have

our temperature checked at the commencement of every day. If anyone

is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 they will cease work immediately

and be required to be tested as soon as possible.

Social Distancing & Personal Protective Equipment

All staff members will be required to wear masks when communicating

and interacting with guests, and while our cabin and guest

accommodations are located at a substantial distance from one another,

we encourage all our guests to practice social distancing practices

throughout their stay at Four Ninety.
